link in bio for a freelancer

28 Oct 2026 · 1 min read

A link in bio for a freelancer: selected work, a way to write, and the service you want this month. The note is saved. The invoice is not.

Show the work, then the ask

A link in bio for a freelancer should prove the work before it asks for a call. Put two or three projects first. Put Contact under them. A long services essay can be a text block, not the first screen.

The work starter on this site is a plain page: selected work, code or writing, and a way to write to you. Rename it for design, writing, or engineering.

One offer, written plainly

If you want a specific job this month, say so in the bio: brand pages, or audits, or portraits. An offer block can name the service and a price. The request lands in Messages.

A proposal file can be an https link. The page does not e-sign it.

Where to paste it

Paste the same address in Instagram, LinkedIn's website field, an email signature, and a proposal PDF. Update the projects on the page when a new one ships.

A QR code on a card can open the same page at a meeting.

Keep the sample links out

Starter pages use example addresses so the shape is visible. Your published page should not. Point Work at a real case study.

GitHub, LinkedIn, and a personal site can sit as social icons. They should not all repeat the same homepage.
