link in bio for artists

A link in bio for artists leads with the work, then a print or a commission. One address stays in the profile. The picture is yours, not a sample.
The work, then the ask
A link in bio for artists is a short wall, not a museum site. The first screen shows the piece you want seen this week, then a print, a commission, or a visit. The sentence under the name says the medium and the city if that is how people choose you.
Paste makemylink.space and your name in Instagram once. When the new piece is the one to show, change the image and the first button, then publish. The profile link stays.
Prints and commissions are different buttons
A print is a product with a price. A commission is a note or a WhatsApp chat, because the price depends on the brief. Do not label both Shop.
WhatsApp opens wa.me. You answer it. A contact note is saved in the studio. This site does not email it and does not send a contract.
Pictures you have the right to show
Upload work that is yours to publish. A film from the studio can play behind the buttons. It should not cover the piece or the label.
Canva can prepare the portrait. Export it and upload it. There is no Canva login here, and a picture of buttons is not a set of links.
Music and photo pages are the same shape
A musician leads with the track. A photographer leads with the selected frames. An illustrator leads with the piece. The ask underneath changes. The address in the bio does not.
Social icons for the apps you actually update can sit under that. Eight icons above the work hide the work.
Say what a tap buys
“Print, A3, ships in a week” is a decision. “Shop” is not. If the print is on Etsy, the button should say that the order happens there.
Hide a product when it is gone. A sold-out button teaches people to skip the next post.
Look at the wall on a phone
Publish. Open the profile. Tap. The piece and the first label should be visible without a zoom. If the film makes the type pale, turn the film off.
After a week, keep the button people tap. A commission button at zero may need a clearer price, or it may not be what this audience came for.
Questions
- Should every piece be a button?
- No. Three works, then the way to buy or commission. More than that pushes the ask below the phone screen.
- Can I sell a print here?
- Yes. List it as a product. Payment runs on Stripe, Razorpay, or your checkout link. The card is not typed on this domain.
- Do you import an Instagram grid?
- No. You choose the images and the links. The page does not pull the grid.
