link in bio examples

28 Oct 2026 · 2 min read

Link in bio examples for a creator, a shop, and an artist: one stable address, a first button that matches the post, and the rest underneath.

Three shapes that cover most profiles

Link in bio examples are patterns, not a gallery of strangers. Link in bio examples for Instagram all start the same way: one address in the profile, then a page whose first button matches the caption.

A creator leads with the latest video, then the shop or the membership, then a way to write. A shop leads with the product or the menu, then WhatsApp, then the map. An artist leads with the work, then a print or a commission, then a visit.

A creator this week

Bio line: “New video Friday. Shop under it.” Buttons: Latest video, Shop, WhatsApp. The video is YouTube or Vimeo. The shop is a product on this page or an https checkout you already use. WhatsApp is wa.me.

The Instagram website stays makemylink.space and the name. Next Friday you change the video button and publish. You do not paste a new URL into the bio.

A shop

Bio line: “Today’s bake until 8.” Buttons: Today’s list, Order on WhatsApp, Map. Prices belong on the button or the product, not in a paragraph above the fold.

Link in bio for ecommerce can be a Shopify store link, an Etsy shop, or a product listed here. Checkout on this site runs on Stripe, Razorpay, or your payment link. Card numbers are not entered on makemylink.space.

An artist

Link in bio for artists: three works, then a print or a commission. The picture on the page is yours. A film from the studio can play behind the buttons. That is the motion. There is no green-screen pack and no GIF maker.

Link in bio design ideas, at that size, are contrast and a short label. A busy portrait with twelve pale buttons fails on a phone. Starter designs already set the type and the column. You change the name, the links, and the picture.

What every example leaves off

Leave off a button that repeats the app they just left, unless it is a second account they actually need. Leave off “link in bio” as a button label. They are already on the page.

Leave off a download you do not have. A numbered caption is not an example to copy. The button must open a real page.

Publish the example you mean

Replace every sample. Read the first screen on a phone. Publish. Then paste the address. A pretty draft that is not public is not an example anyone can tap.

After a week, keep the button people tap and rename or remove the one at zero. The next example of your own page is that shorter list.

Questions

How many buttons should the example have?
Start with three: the thing you want this week, one proof, and one way to write or pay. Add more only after those get taps.
Can I copy another creator’s page?
Copy the shape, not their name, prices, or photos. Replace every sample link before you publish.
Do the examples include a hidden video?
No. A video button is a YouTube or Vimeo link you publish. The label should name that video.
