schedule a link in your bio

Schedule a link in your bio when a button should appear and disappear on its own. The page address stays the same. Visitors see the button only inside the window.
The bio stays. The button moves.
Schedule a link in your bio when Friday's premiere, Sunday's menu, or a wedding weekend should not sit on the page forever. You set a start, an end, or both, in a timezone.
Publish the page with that schedule. Until you publish, visitors still see the previous public page.
A button, or the whole page
A single link can have its own window. The rest of the page stays. Use that for a ticket link that should vanish after the show.
The whole page can have a window too. When that window has not opened, visitors do not see the page yet. When it has ended, they see a closed page until you edit the schedule.
Uses that match the product
A restaurant special for one evening. A premiere button on a music page. An open house on a listing. A fund that should stop asking on a date you choose.
The clock is the schedule you saved, not a guess from the visitor's caption. Check the timezone before you publish.
What a schedule will not do
It will not post to Instagram for you. It will not change the website field in the app. It will not send a reminder email.
If you need the bio itself to point at a different URL next week, you still edit that field by hand. The point of this page is that you should not have to.
Questions
- Does the Instagram link change on a timer?
- No. The bio address stays. The button on the page follows the schedule after you publish it.
- What if the window has already ended?
- Visitors do not get that button. If the whole page schedule has ended, they see a closed page until you change it.
