QR code for a link in bio

A QR code for a link in bio points at the same public page as the Instagram line. The studio can make the code and count the scans.
Print the page, not a one-week link
A QR code for a link in bio belongs on a poster, a card, a menu, or a wedding invitation. The code should open the page you can edit later. If the code points at Friday's video directly, the poster is wrong next week.
makemylink.space/yourname is the address to encode. Publish the page before you print.
The studio code
The studio can make a QR code for the profile. Scans are counted beside views and link clicks. You can also point a code at one button when the poster is about that single action.
Test the print with your phone before you order a stack. A code that opens a draft, or a sample link, is a wasted poster.
What the landing page should show
A person who scanned a menu card wants the menu. A person who scanned a show poster wants the dates. Put that action first.
Write the offer in the bio line as well. A QR scan drops them on the page with no caption from Instagram to explain it.
Keep the code after the campaign
Leave the code in place and change the page. A schedule can show a festival button only on the days it is true.
If you change your username, the old code breaks. Pick the name before you print.
Questions
- Does the QR code open a different page?
- No. It opens the published page, the same one as the bio link, unless you point that code at a single button.
- Are scans counted?
- Yes. A scan is stored with the page. A zero means no scan was stored in that period.
