link in bio for a fundraiser
28 Oct 2026 · 1 min read
A link in bio for a fundraiser: the project, the goal, a donate link on another site, and updates. This page does not hold the money.
The project, then the gift
A link in bio for a fundraiser has to say what the money is for before it asks. Put the goal in the bio. The first button is Donate. Then The project, Updates, and Volunteer.
The fund starter on this site is that order. The example is a clinic campaign. Replace the story with yours.
Donate is a link, not a till
Point Donate at the campaign page that actually receives the money. This site does not take UPI, cards, or transfers. Choosing a plan here does not charge anyone.
Say that in the bio if people might assume the button cashes out on this domain. Trust is the whole campaign.
Updates belong on the same page
When you post an update, edit the text and publish. People who saved the bio link last month should see the new note without a new URL.
A schedule can open the page on the day the campaign starts and close it when you are done, after you publish that schedule.
One address for every poster
Use the same URL in Instagram, a WhatsApp status, and a QR code on a flyer. Scans and clicks are stored. They are not a donation total.
Volunteer signups can be a contact note. You still have to reply. The page will not assign shifts.
Questions
- Can people donate on makemylink.space?
- No. The donate button should open the fund page you already use, such as the campaign site, over https.
- Where do updates go?
- Write them on the page and publish. A contact note from a donor is saved in the studio. It is not emailed.
