link in bio button

A link in bio button is the first thing people can tap on the page. Name it for the place it opens. A banner, a card, or an icon is not a substitute for that label.
The button is the action
Link in bio button means the control people tap after the profile opens. Link in bio cta is that same button with a label that says what happens. “Continue” is weak. “Latest video” or “Order the bowl” is a label.
The profile website is not the button. The profile website opens the page. The button is on the page.
A banner and a card are not the tap
Link in bio banner, link in bio card, and link in bio image can explain the week. Link in bio photo and link in bio png are files. If the only menu is inside the picture, nobody can tap a dish.
Link in bio icon and link in bio logo mark whose page it is. They do not replace the first button. Put the name in the page fields so it is text, not only pixels.
One label, one destination
Each button is one https link. The shop, the video, WhatsApp, and the map are four buttons if you need all four. Do not stack three jobs on one label.
A YouTube or Vimeo link can play. Spotify or SoundCloud can play when the link is that host. Other apps open as buttons.
A code for paper
Link in bio qr code and qr code link in bio are the same address as a square, for a counter or a poster. The studio can make a code for the page and count scans. A scan is not an Instagram tap.
Print the code only after the page is published. A code that opens a draft is a dead sticker.
Emoji is optional
Link in bio emoji and emoji for link in bio can sit in the label if it still says the place. A label that is only an emoji is a guess on a small screen.
Instagram link in bio emoji in the caption does not create the website. The Links row does.
Read the first tap
After a week, keep the button people tap at the top. Rename or remove the one at zero. The counts are stored. They are not estimated.
Publish, open the profile, and tap the website, then the button. If either step fails, the caption is early.
Questions
- Can the button be a picture?
- The portrait can be a picture. The action still needs a real button with an https address. A photo of a button does not tap.
- Do I need a QR code as well?
- Use a QR code when the page is on a card or a poster. The bio on Instagram is the website row, not a code.
- How many buttons belong first?
- One primary button on the first phone screen. The rest can sit lower.
