link in bio threads

Link in bio on Threads is the website on your Threads profile, and it is separate from the Threads badge on Instagram. Hide the badge in Instagram’s Edit profile.
Two different links
Link in bio threads can mean the website on Threads, or the Threads badge Instagram adds to your profile. They are not the same control. The badge sends people to Threads. The website sends them to your page.
How to get rid of threads link in instagram bio: Edit profile, turn off Show Threads badge. How to remove threads link in instagram bio is that switch, not Remove link, unless you also pasted a Threads URL under Links.
Put the page on Threads itself
On Threads, edit the profile link and paste makemylink.space and your name after you publish. Posts can change every hour. The link should not.
A post that says the link is in the bio means the profile website. It does not mean the badge on Instagram.
What the page should show
Threads is the short line. The page can hold the longer note, the essay, the shop, or the video. Lead with the thing the post just mentioned.
An X post and a Threads post can share this page. You do not need a second profile for the second app.
Do not loop them
If they tapped a Threads link, a first button that only opens Threads sends them back. Put the work first. An icon for Threads can sit lower.
The same rule applies to Instagram. The first button should be the next step, not the app they left.
Check both profiles
Open Threads and tap the link. Open Instagram and see whether the badge is on or off, and whether Links still has your page. Hiding the badge does not clear a website you saved.
If Instagram still shows Threads after you turn the badge off, close the app and look again.
One address underneath
Change buttons on the page when the work changes. Leave the Threads link and the Instagram website in place.
Views and clicks are stored here. They are not Threads impressions. A zero is a zero.
Questions
- Does the Instagram badge count as my website?
- No. The badge opens Threads. Your website is the Links row, or the link field on the Threads profile.
- If I hide the badge, is Threads deleted?
- No. Instagram’s help says turning off Show Threads badge hides it, and also hides the Instagram badge on Threads.
- Can both apps use one page?
- Yes. Paste the same makemylink.space address on Threads and in Instagram’s Links.
