The page stays published
People who still have the address can open makemylink.space and your name. Taking it off Instagram does not unpublish the page, refund an order, or erase messages.

A badge is not the website
A Threads badge is Show Threads badge in Edit profile. Turn that off to hide Threads. It is a different switch from Remove link.
A Facebook row under Links comes off with Remove link, the same as a website you pasted. A mention typed as @name is deleted in the bio text.
Say so if old posts still point there
Stories and captions that say the link is in the bio will disappoint people after you remove it. Take those down, or put a new address back before you announce a move.
A computer session often cannot do this. The help page says the website steps are in the app.
Put a new one only when the page is ready
Add link again after you publish the replacement. Paste https and the full name. Tap Done. Then open the profile and tap it.
Do not leave a sample address in the slot you just cleared. An empty row is clearer than a wrong shop.
Check the profile after
Back out and look under the name. The website line should be gone, or it should be the one you meant to keep. Close the app if an old line lingers.
The first of several websites is the one visitors see. If you removed the wrong row, add it back and reorder.
