Put it in Links
How to put link in bio instagram is a paste into Links, not a line of bio text. How to put a link in bio instagram, put link in bio instagram, and instagram how to put link in bio follow the same screen: Profile, Edit profile, Links, Add link, paste, Done.
How to put a link in your instagram bio is the longer version of this. The short version is: publish first, then paste makemylink.space and your name.
Copy the public address
Copy after publish. A draft URL can look right and still open nothing public. The characters are the domain, a slash, and the name. No space at the end.
If Instagram asks for a title, use the thing people came for. The title is the label. The URL is the address.
The phone is the only save
How to add link in bio instagram desktop stops at the copy. The save is the app. Check Links on the phone before you trust a browser preview.
Update the Instagram app if Add link is missing. The help page does not require 1,000 followers for this.
What not to put in the slot
Do not put a private doc, a login page, or your own Instagram profile as the only website. People are already on Instagram. The first link should open the next step.
An @mention in the bio text can open another Instagram account. That mention is not a substitute for the website.
Leave it there
When Friday’s video changes, edit the button and publish. Do not put a new URL in Instagram. Old stories keep the address you already pasted.
Reorder only when a different website should be the one in the bio line. Options, Reorder links, drag.
Tap it before the Reel
Back out to the profile and tap. The page should show the button you just published, and the platform mark on a free page.
Then the caption can say the link is in the bio. Until that tap works, the sentence is a promise you have not kept.
